ARCANGELO MIGNINI

With his agency GR.I.M. has been present for over 30 years in one of the most exclusive areas of Bari.

> Here is the interview with Eng. Arcangelo Mignini, Partner L'immobiliare.com who since 2020 has joined the real estate network of the Grimaldi family. In fact it was a "return" as Eng. Mignini began his career as a real estate agent with L'Immobiliare S.p.A. in 1979.

> Ing. Mignini, you are a highly experienced Real Estate Agent and have been present for over 30 years with your GR.I.M agency in one of the most central areas of Bari. Can you tell us how your passion for this activity was born?
It all began way back in February 1979, when, responding to a personal research advertisement from L'Immobiliare S.p.A, I was hired as an "official" for the Bari office which dealt exclusively with the acquisition and sale of Interi Stabili. All this seemed very interesting to me and I remember that at the time there were only 2 Real Estate Agencies at the national level in Bari and the Turin Real Estate in Bari had already been present since 1974 as the thirteenth agency open on the national territory. From that day, and with a lot of enthusiasm on my part, my first stable working adventure in the "real estate world" began, which then led me to have considerable personal and professional recognition over the years.

> He has known the Grimaldi family for many years and since 2020 he has decided to join the L'immobiliare.com circuit with his Agencies as a Partner. What prompted you to make this choice?
From January 1981, after having been director of the Foggia and then Bari branch with the company that had now become Grimaldi S.p.A. of Turin, from the name of their 3 founders, Pasquale, Saverio and Augusto Grimaldi, I became an affiliate of the Company, which was the first in Italy in the real estate sector and began to adopt "real estate franchising" with the opening in Italy of over 100 Grimaldi “meeting points”. And so until 2006, with the duties of affiliate and Area Manager for Puglia, Basilicata and Calabria and the opening of other new affiliate offices in Puglia, my work with the family continued with enthusiasm and considerable satisfaction. Grimaldi. From 2020 I then decided, also and above all to give my son Luca more opportunities for development at national level who for over 10 years has become the owner of our Gr.I.M. Agency. Mignini Real Estate Group, to become a partner of the L'Immobiliare.com circuit. Basically, in the end, we returned, with unchanged enthusiasm and unchanged professionalism, to be part of the Grimaldi family again where it all began 40 years ago!

> How do you see the real estate market in your city after these particular months?
It is useless to hide that we are all going through very special moments, not just in our sector. As far as we are concerned, the needs of both the choice of housing types and the real estate investment budget have changed considerably. As regards the choice of housing typology, by now we are looking, even more than in the past, for properties with large spaces of external courtyards, with lots of greenery, if possible even better, with large balconies and even better terraces, therefore apartments in residences or villas. As far as the investment budget is concerned, however, we try to orient ourselves towards a purchase in a very prudent way, not yet knowing how long and how we will find ourselves from an economic point of view at the end of this heavy pandemic! This with regard to the housing sector, as regards the tertiary and commercial sectors, on the other hand, everything is still quite in place and awaiting evolution, both for the offices heavily penalized by smart working and both for the temporary or unfortunately definitive closure of the activities commercial. Almost everyone is waiting to see
finally and truly a light at the end of the tunnel!

> Over the years, you may have met various customers, each with its own history and characteristics... can you tell us about a particular encounter?
In all these years and with thousands and thousands of customers met, there have been many situations that have happened to us, of the most varied, from the pathetic, to the comical and the far-fetched. However, what I always remember with particular pleasure is the one, many years ago, when I brought to visit a group of customers who were part of an association of "blind" people who had to buy an entire building to use as their new headquarters. The thing that surprised me considerably and I still remember well, was to see with what skill, wealth and competence, they managed to "understand" all the finishes (quality and type of tiles, floors, fixtures, etc.) and the construction details of the same motionless, in practice, their "touch" was far superior to what they unfortunately lacked, the "sight".
